1. My biggest tip is: BE CONSISTENT.
Follow the recommendations given to you in testimonials and/or by your Independant Reliv Consultant. Its not uncommon for your Reliv Consultant to recommend a minimum of 2 shakes a day – and sometimes more depending on what your nutritional concerns are and what is identifed in your initial client questionaire. I personally will usually recommend a client starts at 3 shakes per day. The reasoning behind this is that the body uses nutrients throughout the day – not just in one dose – similarly we eat 3 meals per day. Ok, many of us DON”T eat 3 square meals a day – but it IS how our body IS designed to be. We need to refuel thru the day. Skipping meals robs the body of nutrients – while dividing it out 2-3 times a day gives the body a chance to refuel. Often times clients will think they can take double to triple the dose ONE time per day and have it be equal. NOT SO! The body only uses a certain amount of nutrients at a time and flushes the rest – so smaller amounts given thru the day will allow the body to use the nutrients properly. Once you take the time to create the new habit – you’ll find that you not only feel better and notice the difference – you really will find that its NOT that hard. Just let go of the excuses running thru your head. Seriously, if you’re going to make the choice to supplement with something that can change your life – you might as well make the commitment to do it correctly!
2. No less important is GIVE IT TIME.
Changes in the body do not happen overnight. I personally recommend a SOLID commitment of 90-120 days MINIMUM. The longer and more consistent one is, the better results will be. Clients may continue to see improvements in health and well being even 12-18 months later …sometimes more. Stay in touch with me as your Reliv Consultant, ask questions, make me aware of any concerns you have and allow me the courtesy to address them properly.
3. Ideas for making your shakes: Less than 5% of people I meet struggle with the powder, but here’s some suggestions if you need them. This is what has worked for others. If you have other tips, let me know.
a. Mix all the powders together in water, milk, or juice.
b. SHAKE – in a covered cup. It works better shaken, not stirred.
c. Blend with a hand blender if you find that it doesn’t dissolve as well as you like. Small hand blenders can be easily purchased at walmart or other stores.
d. Drink thru a straw.
e. Blend in a blender with fruit, yogurt, peanut butter, ice, etc.
f. Do not put innergize in the cup first. It tends to not dissolve as well when put in first with other powders.
g. Try drinking it in very cold water (if you are doing water).
